“The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is rapidly fadin’
And the first one now
Will later be last”
For the times they are a-changin'”
The Times They Are A-Changin – Bob Dylan
Sometimes it takes a long time to change, and other times change can happen in an instant. One thing I know for sure, change is the only constant in life. Nothing ever lasts forever.
Sometimes you change over time, and you don’t even notice, then one day you look back and realize you are a different person.
I remember there was a time when I was afraid of the number 17. Every 17th of the month, I would dread it as I thought it was unlucky for me.
When my daughter was born, I decided I did not want to instill the same fears in her, so in an instant I made 17 my lucky number.
Everything changed after that, and I started attracting things that were good on that date. Nothing had changed except my perception.
Sometimes though, you have no control over things, especially if you are dealt a rotten hand in life and you feel hopeless and helpless.
In those times all you can do is hang on to hope that things will turn around for you and that there are people who care and will do everything in their power to support you. Hope springs eternal knowing change is inevitable.
“The slow one now will later be fast and the first one now, will later be last.”

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”— Mother Teresa
